The Alumino Silicate vacuum formed ceramic fiber boards are manufactured from slurry containing the desired grade of ceramic fiber wool and organic binders. They are rigid self supporting boards with a hard surface and can be machined with holes, slots and to various shapes. Close thickness tolerances are achievable. Click here for a data sheet
The alumino silicate ceramic fiber wool blankets are available in a wide variety of roll thicknesses, widths, lengths and densities. They are easily die-cut to different shapes for your application. CFI blankets are air laid into a continuous mat and are mechanically needled for exceptional strength and surface integrity.
Produced through a spinning process, spun fibers have longer fiber lengths with tightly controlled diameters and low sediments that lead to higher tensile strength properties. Its well distributed interwoven construction offers superior erosion resistance and pliability. Click here for a data sheet
CFI's ceramic fiber paper is constructed by forming a nonwoven matrix of alumino-silicate spun fibers. The randomly oriented ceramic fibers are held together by an organic binder system that quickly burns off. Ceramic fiber papers can easily be cut into lightweight, flexible sheets with uniform thickness and density. Excellent for use as refractory backup, fire protection, thermal insulation and high-temperature gasket, separator, or parting agent. Click here for a data sheet
